The Kansas State men’s basketball team upset No. 6 Oklahoma State, 74-71, to open Big 12 Conference play at Bramlage Coliseum.
For the second straight season, the Wildcats opened the conference schedule with a win over a ranked Cowboys squad, this time beating a Top 10-ranked team.
Freshman guard Marcus Foster led the way with 17 points, while Nino Williams scored 15 and Thomas Gipson added 10. Williams scored his career high against the Cowboys last season, scoring 17 points in the Wildcats’ 2013 Big 12 opener.
