Wildcats top Oral Roberts 71-63

Marcus Foster scored 25 points as the Kansas State men’s basketball team earned its first win of the year with a 71-63 victory over Oral Roberts on Wednesday at Bramlage Coliseum.

The K-State freshman was 9 of 12 from the field and led a 10-1 run in the first half that helped the Wildcats (1-1) take an 18-17 lead. He had 16 points in the first half.

DJ Johnson scored 12 points for the Wildcats and added seven rebounds, while Will Spradling scored 10 points. The Eagles were led by Obi Emegano, who scored 24 points. Shawn Glover had 21 points and nine rebounds for Oral Roberts.
