If you were unable to make it to the Phoenix for the 2013 Fiesta Bowl, there are several options to fiesta and watch the No. 5 Wildcats take on the No. 4 Oregon Ducks as a community. Kick off is at 7:30 p.m.
The K-State Student Union is hosting a watch party in the Union Foodcourt with concessions in the Cats’ Den convenience store. The Recreation Area also has a nachos special, as well as bowling and billiards.

Cheer on the Cats this weekend in Bramlage Coliseum as the men’s basketball team takes on Oklahoma State at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. The women’s basketball team welcomes TCU to Bramlage at 6 p.m.

Mad Libs Party, 2-3 p.m. Kids can use their imaginations to write their own crazy, fill-in-the-blank mad lib stories and also learn a little about grammar. Suggested for grades K-6. Public Library.
Eagle Day at Tuttle Creek Lake, 9 a.m.-noon. The eagles are landing around Manhattan. With the arrival of winter, migratory bald eagles have been working their way south and passing through Kansas. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tuttle Creek Lake offers the opportunity to see our national bird in its native habitat. Meet at 9 a.m. in the large assembly room at the Manhattan Fire Station at 2000 Denison. After a couple of presentations on bald eagles, the bus tour will go in areas near Tuttle Creek Lake, with the goal of watching bald eagles in the wild. All participants should dress appropriately for the weather. Everyone is encouraged to bring binoculars, spotting scopes, and cameras. Free and open to the public.
