Wamego splits

In Clay Center, the Tigers used a second-half rally to defeat Wamego 58-46 on Tuesday night. The Red Raiders took a 28-20 lead into halftime and maintained a four-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.

But Clay Center would dominate the final period, outscoring Wamego 26-10.

Marshall Wethington led the Red Raiders, who fell to 6-11 and 2-6 in league play, with 13 points.

The Wamego girls defeated Clay Center 66-50 to clinch a piece the NCKL title. The girls are 13-4 overall and 8-0 in the league.
