Wamego drops Concordia

The Wamego Red Raiders (2-1) used a balanced attack with 222 yards through the air and 112 on the ground to rally past Concordia 32-22 in the second half Friday night.

Concordia led 22-20 at halftime but did not score again as the Red Raider defense held on and helped earn the win. Wamego quarterback Marshall Wethington finished 13 of 25 through the air with four touchdowns, while receiver Trenton York had four receptions for 137 yards and three scores.
