In Abilene, the Wamego Red Raiders (5-0, 4-0 NCKL) spoiled homecoming for the Cowboys, taking a 29-14 lead to halftime and answering every Abilene touchdown with a score of their own until late in the game. The Red Raiders led 42-21 to start the fourth and got one more touchdown to keep Abilene at bay and stay undefeated.

Trenton York finished with three touchdowns, while teammate Kyler Alderson had a pair to pace Wamego, who wraps up NCKL play next week at home against Clay Center.
