To the Editor:
As the fall season draws our attention to public affairs, the League of Women Voters of Manhattan/Riley County has scheduled an event to help keep citizens connected with our local elected officials.
The public is invited to come for coffee and conversation with members of the Manhattan City Commission, the Riley County Commission, and the Manhattan-Ogden Board of Education.
This gathering is scheduled for 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at KSU’s International Grains Program building, 1980 Kimball Ave. — across from the Women’s Rowing Center.
Come and get acquainted. It’s a great chance to have an informative exchange with our local decision-makers — and to learn more about what makes our community work!
