Valley Heights drops Frankfort in TVL semis

At Frankfort, Valley Heights picked up a 65-49 win in the semifinals of the Twin Valley League tournament, punching their ticket for the finals against Axtell.

In a high-scoring first quarter, the Mustangs led 19-18 after the first quarter. The teams were tied at 26 at halftime.

Valley Heights took control in the third quarter, outscoring the Wildcats 24-7. The Mustangs kept control in the fourth quarter on the way to the win.

Charles Musil scored 12 points, while Derek Trimble had 11. Dylan Parker had 10 points.
