By The Mercury

Additional information was released Monday on a Friday roll-over accident at 10th and Moro streets.

Officer Matthew Droge said the accident occurred after Courtney Stuckey, 18, Manhattan, driving a 2002 Nissan Xterra, failed to yield at the intersection and was struck by a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Meridith Funk, 19, Manhattan.

Droge said Stuckey’s Xterra rolled over onto its roof after impact. Riley County EMS transported Stuckey to Mercy Regional Health Center for hip pain.

She was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.

Droge said Funk went to Mercy in a private car. She did not have serious injuries.

The accident occurred a little before 11:30 a.m. Friday.
