Universities already vie for black faculty members

To the Editor: Having spent most of my professional life in university higher education, I found the Mercury article on the paucity of African-American faculty at KSU very interesting, but requiring some additional perspective that was briefly alluded to when comparing KSU’s number of black faculty with Midwestern peer institutions.
