The undefeated Kansas State volleyball team hosts Tulsa tonight at Ahearn Field House, as the Wildcats look for their seventh straight win to start the season.

Beginning at 6 p.m., tonight’s tilt with Tulsa marks the end of a four-match-in-five-day stretch for the Wildcats.

K-State won its home invitational this past weekend, led by tournament MVP Katie Brand and all-tournament team members Dakota Kaufman and Kaitlynn Pelger. The Wildcats secured sweeps in all three matches.

In the home opener Friday, the Wildcats put away Southeast Missouri State in three sets, with each set showing improvement. K-State won the first set 25-23 and turned in a .231 hitting percentage. Cats hit in .250 and .295 in the second and third sets, respectively. The Wildcats won in the final set 25-15, as Kaufman had a team-best 11 kills while Pelger registered a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs.

K-State finished its Friday doubleheader with a sweep of Southern Illinois. The Wildcats had a .500 hitting percentage, led by Kaufman (11 kills) and Lilla Porubek (11 kills). Brand had nine kills on 10 errorless attempts while also adding 31 assists and five digs.

The Wildcats swept Siena in the final match of the weekend on Saturday afternoon.
