Two burglaries on Thurston

Two different reports of burglary were reported on Thurston Street.

Laura Worner and Chailyn Cummings, 827 Thurston, reported an unknown person or persons entered their home between Dec. 16 and Dec. 29. A 20-inch television and prescription narcotics were reported taken for a total loss of $360.

Megan Monnett, 821 Thurston, reported that between 9:15 p.m. Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 1:25 a.m., the residents was entered. Items taken were a black 42-inch LCD television and a bottle of prescription narcotics.

When reporters called Sgt. Pat Tiede’s attention to the similarities in addresses, he said, “We call that a clue.” Both burglaries are still under investigation.

Manhattan resident reports aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. James Guame, 40, 1300 Marlatt Ave. Apt. 1001, reported that suspects entered his home between 11 p.m. Dec. 26 and 1:30 a.m. Dec. 27.

Teide said the suspects “brandished a weapon and burglarized the home.” Guame reported several electronics were taken. Total loss was $1,950. An investigation is still ongoing.
