Two men were arrested Thursday on several drug offenses following an ongoing investigation by the Riley County Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit into drug use in the area.
Timothy Hill, 23, 610 N. Fifth St., and Devon Davis, 23, 516 Bertrand St., were arrested following a traffic stop on Sixth Street, between Grandview Plaza and Junction City, which was coordinated by the investigations unit, the Geary County Sheriff’s Department and the Junction City Drug Task Force.
Hill was arrested for two counts of sale of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, three counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, three counts of unlawful use of telecommunications device, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute, no drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hill is confined to Riley County Jail on $20,000 bond.
Davis was arrested for three counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, unlawful use of telecommunications device, sale of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a school, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, no drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Davis is confined to the Riley County Jail on $15,000 bond.
