Trucks stolen from Pottawatomie County

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of two pick-up trucks stolen from north of highway 24 sometime between May 7 and 8.

Sheriff Greg Riat said the victim reported that the trucks were taken around Bluebird Bird and the trucks are owned by Bob Hull Inc. The trucks contained utility and general work tools.

The first truck is a 2004 Chevrolet HD 2500 4 by 4, white in color with a Duramax Diesel. The truck is a crew cab with a pickup bed, which contained a tool box behind the cab, and then a fuel tank behind the tool box with a hand pump. At the time of the theft the license plate on this vehicle was 416-DWD. 

The second pickup is a 2005 Chevrolet HD 2500 4 by 4, maroon in color. The truck is also a crew cab with a pickup bed which has a tool box against the cab and one on each side of the bed. The pickup has “Bob Hull Inc” lettering in the back window. At the time of the theft the license plate on this vehicle was 418-DWD.

The losses from the thefts are expected to exceed $30,000.
