Troy edges Valley Heights 15-14

In Blue Rapids, the Mustangs lost a low-scoring affair with Troy (4-2), despite taking a 6-0 lead to halftime. Troy scored all 15 of its points in the third quarter to take the lead for good, with Valley Heights responding with a second touchdown and two-point conversion to make up the final score. Neither team scored in the fourth quarter.

Valley Heights finished with 176 rushing yards, with Cole Maddox leading the way with 85 yards and a touchdown. The other score came on a pass from Gage Woodyard to Logan Woodyard.

Valley Heights (2-4) travels to Doniphan West (1-5) next week.
