Too many of us disregard military’s sacrifices in wars

To the Editor:
Hidden on Page A7 of Sunday’s Manhattan Mercury is an article with a headline that reads, “After 11 years in Afghanistan, U.S. troops’ deaths don’t evoke a sense of shared loss.” Does this anger or shame any of us?
