TOC brackets released for MHS

The Manhattan High boys’ basketball team will open its stay at the Tournament of Champions in Dodge City with a first round game against Hutchinson.

The game with the Salthawks is scheduled to be played at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, at a new location for the tournament, the United Wireless Arena.

The Indians will play either the winner or loser of the game prior to that at 2 p.m., between Wichita East and Ulysses.

On the top side of the bracket, Dodge City will face Hays and Wichita Heights, which features Kansas signee Perry Ellis, will play St. James Academy.
