Titans take second at state

The Manhattan Titans 11-and-under baseball team traveled to Great Bend this past weekend and competed in the NBC state championship tournament. 

Manhattan went 4-1 for the tournament to finish second in the open division.

In pool play, the Titans defeated the Pratt Outlaws 13-0 and Shawnee Braves 3-2. 

The Titans defeated Ark City 10-8 in the quarterfinals and the Wichita Hawks 2-1 in the semifinals.

Manhattan lost in the championship game to the Wichita Rangers Academy 7-2. 

Titan players are Trenton Brooks, Jake Cox, Gunner Ebert, Brady Foltz, Domenic Huber, Aidan Lee, Cameron Minihan, Mitch Munsen, Noah Sapp, Nathan Williams and BJ Young. 

The Titans are coached by Lance Brooks, Trent Ebert, Darren Foltz, Robert Huber and Scott Munsen.
