Three vehicle burglaries Thursday

Three different vehicles were broken into on June 21 in various parking lots.

The first incident occurred at 5:17 p.m. in the parking lot at Sirloin Stockade. Ashley Brumfield, 19, 420 Flint Hills Place Apt. 3201, had a backpack stolen from her car. The items include $300 in cash, a cellphone and a laptop. The total loss was $650.

The second incident occurred at 6:05 p.m. at 1150 Westloop Place in the Little Caesar’s Pizza parking lot. Jennifer Shy, 21, Junction City, reported a window broken on her car with her purse missing. Included among the stolen items was a 23-karat gold puzzle ring. The total loss was $641.

The third incident occurred between 7:45 and 9 p.m. at 3007 Anderson Ave. at Ray’s Apple Market. The two victims were Erin King, 21, 226 S 11th St., and Zachary Johnson, 21, 1919 Hunting Ave. No. 1. The window on the 2002 Dodge was broken, costing $300. A purse was stolen as well as other items such as boots and golf club set. The total loss was $1,721.
