Three arrested after drug probe

Riley County police arrested three people and seized methamphetamine, marijuana and $3,000 in cash on Tuesday after an investigation into drug distribution.

According to a report from Officer Matthew Droge, the RCPD teamed with agents from the Kansas Department of Corrections State Parole Office to search an Ogden residence at 230 N. Walnut St.

They arrested Amanda Bluthardt, 34, of the address and Terrance Estes, 48, 6030 Tuttle Creek Blvd., No. 30.

Estes was arrested for sale or distribution of stimulants, possession of paraphernalia used to grow or distribute marijuana, and unlawful possession of a hallucinogen. He was con­fined in the Riley County Jail on a $20,000 bond.

Bluthardt was charged with possession of opiates, opium or narcotic drugs and possession of paraphernalia used to grow or distribute marijuana. She was confined on a $15,000 bond.

Police also searched Estes’ residence and found more controlled substances and paraphernalia.

Christopher Russo, 46, of the address, was arrested as a result. He was charged with possession of opiates, opium or narcotic drugs, unlawful possession of a hallucinogen and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Russo is confined on a $10,000 bond.
