Theft of ATV and handguns

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff Office is investigating the theft of a 2007 Arctic Cat all-terrain vehicle that had two handguns secured in its lockbox.

Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat said the ATV was described as lime green with a black box on the back. 

Riat said the ATV was last seen in a wooded area in the 21490 block of Onaga Road in Onaga. 

He said the victim believes the theft occurred sometime between Dec. 4 and Dec. 13, 2012.

The loss in the theft will exceed 1000 dollars. 

The owner is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this theft.
