Tickets for this year’s Symphony in the Flint Hills go on sale Saturday.

The event, which offers live music in a different Flint Hills location each year, will take place June 14 at Rosalia Ranch in Butler County. The Kansas City Symphony will perform.

Five thousand general admission tickets will be available and generally sell very quickly, according to the event website.

Tickets are $90 for adults and $50 for children 12 and under. They are available through the Kansas City Symphony Box Office by calling 816-471-0400, going online or visiting in person at 1703 Wyandotte, Suite 200 in Kansas City, Mo. The box office opens at 10 a.m. Tickets are also available in person in Wichita at Dillards at Towne East Shopping Mall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 5 only.

General admission tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchases are limited to a maximum of six tickets per order. Patron tickets are also available.

The purpose of the annual event, now in its ninth year, is to increase awareness of the ecological and cultural significance of the Flint Hills and provide an economic boost to rural communities, according to the website.
