Suspect arrested; help needed

A Topeka man was arrested Friday on a Pottawatomie County warrant for various charges including burglary, but officials said they still need help locating much of the stolen property.

Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat said Lucas Scott Fenwick, 22, was arrested for two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, two counts of criminal damage to property and one count of forgery. He is being held on $50,000 bond.

Riat said sheriff’s deputies are trying to locate flat screen televisions, jewelry and guns.  He also said a black Ford Taurus with a gold hood may have been involved during the commission of these burglaries.

Fenwick was arrested with assistance from the Riley County, Topeka, Junction City and Osage County police departments.

Anyone with information on the burglaries or stolen property is asked to contact the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at (785) 457-3353. Riat said anonymous calls are welcome.
