Sunflower Showdown to kick at 11 a.m.

The 111th installment of the Sunflower Showdown between Kansas State and Kansas will kick off at 11 a.m. on Nov. 30 from Memorial Stadium in Lawrence and will be shown to a national audience on FOX Sports 1.

The Sunflower Showdown is the 11th-most played rivalry in the FBS, in terms of consecutive games played. The series began in 1902 with KU owning a 65-40-5 edge in the series, but the Wildcats have won 16 of the last 20 matchups, including the last four.

It will be K-State’s second straight 11 a.m. contest shown nationally on FOX Sports 1, as the Wildcats host Oklahoma on senior day this Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
