Sunflower Bank hires senior vice president

Sunflower Bank has hired Terry Harts to the position of senior vice president and market president regional director of the bank’s central Kansas region, including the Junction City, Manhattan, McPherson and Salina markets.

Harts possesses over 30 years experience in the financial industry, most recently as senior vice president at Community First National Bank in Manhattan.

“Terry is a great addition to our senior leadership team,” said Mollie Carter, President and CEO of Sunflower Bank. “He brings a wealth of banking knowledge and experience and is focused on creating possibilities for success for Sunflower Bank customers.”

A Kansas State University alumnus and Ellsworth native, Harts is very active in the community. Currently, Harts serves as Manhattan Chamber of Commerce chairman of the board, and is on the board of directors for several other organizations including the Manhattan Community Foundation and Sunset Zoo Biological Park Foundation. He has also served on the boards of the Flint Hills Breadbasket, Leadership Manhattan, Via Christi Retirement Village, the Riley County United Way and several others.

Harts and his wife, Ann, have two grown children and reside in Manhattan.
