Stranger found in man’s home

By The Mercury

An Ogden woman was arrested Tuesday after a man found her in his Ogden residence, along with his missing laptop computer.

Lt. Josh Kyle said Santos Giordano, 30, was arrested for burglary and criminal trespass after Christopher Soder, 34, found the woman in his 3040 Honeydew Lane residence at approximately 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Soder previously filed a burglary report on Monday after his MacBook Pro laptop computer was stolen from his residence that same day, but Kyle said when Soder came home Tuesday, his computer had been returned.

Giordano’s involvement with the return of the computer is unclear, and she has not been charged with its theft.

Kyle said she apparently gained access through an unlocked door.

Giordano was released from the Riley County Jail on $2,500 bond.
