Story behind ‘Resilience’ is arts leadership at KSU

By Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
The article headlined “Inter-preting Resilience” in last Sun-day’s Arts & Leisure section of the Manhattan Mercury was much appreciated. “Human Kind: What Does it Mean to be Resilient?” the careful and poignant work by the Joe Goode Performance Group, took modern dance to a new level with the powerful interpretation of the theme “resiliency” as experi-enced daily by military families right here in our community. Many tears were shed, and I believe healing happened as a result of a phenomenal amount of listening and sharing through this expressive and dramatic art form.
