A Fort Riley soldier was arrested for domestic battery after his 25-year-old girlfriend reported that he allegedly battered her Monday.

Goldie Woods, 25, 2010 Seaton Ave., was arrested after his girlfriend reported that he allegedly battered her between approximately 12:20 and 12:35 p.m. He has been released from the Riley County Jail on $500 bond.

Lt. Josh Kyle said the woman also reported two related incidents Monday, though he declined to specify if Woods was the suspect in these cases.

In the first incident, which reportedly occurred on Sept. 9 at and address in north-central Manhattan, the woman said her boyfriend threatened her with a rifle, strangled her to the point of unconsciousness and took the phone away from her when she tried to call the police. She also reported her boyfriend allegedly tried to burn her to death.

No arrests were made in that case.

In the second incident, also at an address in north-central Manhattan, the 25-year-old woman reported that during a verbal argument with her boyfriend on Monday, he closed the door on her foot.

In another related incident, Kyle said, Woods reported that a person known to him stole four pistols and two machetes from a locked boxed in his residence.

Woods reported that the theft occurred between 1 p.m. on Sept. 14 and 8:18 a.m. on Sept. 17.

Kyle said one 44-caliber Special Taurus revolver, two 9-millimeter Smith and Wessons and one Kel-Tec .380 pistol were stolen.
