After Kansas State’s 49-26 win over Texas Tech, coach Bill Snyder decided to handwrite a letter to Red Raiders’ tight end Jace Amaro.
The letter, which Amaro revealed on Monday, read, “you’ve had a great year Jace. Admire how hard you play and the innate toughness you display to help your team. Hope you weren’t hurt badly on Saturday. Wishing you and your teammates continued success, good fortune and health. Warm regards, Bill Snyder.”
Amaro left the game against K-State with an injury and was held out by coaches when he wanted to return in the second half.
The tight end is currently earning the rare distinction of being an award candidate for the Biletnikoff award, given to the best wide receiver in college football.
