Several former Wildcats cut from NFL rosters

As NFL teams continue to trim their rosters in anticipation of the start of the regular season, several former Kansas State football players found themselves without a team on Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs cut sixth-round draft pick Braden Wilson, while the Denver Broncos cut cornerback Nigel Malone. The Green Bay Packers sent Angelo Pease packing, while Meshak Williams was cut by the Baltimore Ravens.

All NFL teams must trim their roster to 75 by the final preseason game, then must get down to 53 for their official roster to start the season.
