Several connected vehicle burglaries

By The Mercury

Seven vehicles were burglarized in apparently connected incidents in close proximity to each other overnight between Jan. 16 and 17 in the northeast side of Manhattan.

Sgt. Brad Ingalls said three of the burglaries took place in the 2000 block of Vineyard Circle, one took place outside of 317 Knox Lane, and three took place in the 2000 block of Mike Place.

The combined loss from the burglaries was $1,146.

In several of the incidents windows were broken to gain entry.

There have been more recent burglaries in the northeast side of town, but they are still under investigation and only the seven have been connected at this time.
