By The Mercury

Ottawa senior Semi Ojeleye broke the Kansas state scoring record on Tuesday at Eudora, scoring 26 points to bring his career total to 2,563 points.

Ojeleye, the brother of former K-State forward Victor Ojeleye, entered the game needing 18 points to break the record held by Josh Reid, who scored 2,554 points at Brewster from 1993-96 before playing at K-State. Ojeleye will attend Duke next season.
