Search warrant used on Thurston St.

Police executed a search warrant that resulted in three arrests at 1127 Thurston St. as a part of an ongoing drug investigation Thursday evening.

Police arrested Kansas State University students Casey Tillman, 22, and Ayracon Almaraz, 22, who both reside at 1127 Thurston St., as well as Clinton MacDonald, 23, Timken.

Tillman is charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana, distribution of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of a telecommunication device. He was released on $5,500 bond.

Almaraz is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, unlawful use of a telecommunication device, no drug tax stamp, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy to distribute marijuana. He was released on $5,000 bond.

MacDonald is charged with unlawful cultivation or distribution of a controlled substance, no drug tax stamp, unlawful use of a telecommunication device, unlawful possession of certain drug precursors and paraphernalia and conspiracy to distribute marijuana. He was released on $5,500 bond.

Officials declined to comment on what led to the execution of the search warrant, citing an ongoing investigation on drugs in Manhattan.
