Schools racing for tech cash

Five Manhattan and three Wamego schools are competing for $15,000 in technology.

Cartridge World is sponsor of the voting-based competition, which can be accessed at There is a limit of one vote per day.

The 30 competing schools include Manhattan High School, Bergman, Marlatt and Roosevelt elementaries, Manhattan Catholic Schools, Wamego Middle School, and Central and West elementaries.

Voting ends March 31, with winners named by April 30.

The school with the most votes will receive a $15,000 prize. The other schools will be entered into a drawing for $15,000 prizes.
