School-record nine Wildcats named Academic All-Big 12

The Kansas State volleyball team had a conference-best nine student-athletes named to the 2013 Academic All-Big 12 Team on Tuesday, matching the program record for a single season.

Seven Wildcats were selected to the First Team, as five earned the Academic All-Big 12 selection for the first time in their careers.

The First Team included Courtney Cook, Kaitlynn Pelger, Lilla Porubek, Courtney Traxson, Gina Madonia, Taylor Johnson and Katie Brand. Dakota Kaufman and Chelsea Keating made the Second Team.
