Saturday’s high school basketball scores



Girls
BAILEYVILLE B&B 48, BLUE VALLEY 35
At Randolph, B&B (12-3, 4-2 Twin-Valley) led 24-13 at halftime and never looked back against Blue Valley (1-12, 0-6) on Saturday. Erica Sudbeck scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Falcons, while Brittany Pfaff and Kim Innes each scored eight for Blue Valley.

VALLEY HEIGHTS 50, CLIFTON-CLYDE 21
At Clyde, the Mustangs (10-3, 6-1 Twin-Valley) took care of business against the overmatched Eagles (4-9, 1-5) on Saturday. Individual scoring was not available. Valley Heights hosts Wetmore (7-5, 3-2) on Tuesday.

Boys
BAILEYVILLE B&B 50, BLUE VALLEY 41
At Randolph, B&B (10-5, 5-1 Twin-Valley) managed to win on the road against Blue Valley (2-10, 1-5) on Saturday. Individual scoring was not available. Blue Valley travels to Linn (5-9, 3-6) on Tuesday.

VALLEY HEIGHTS 50, CLIFTON-CLYDE 40
At Clyde, Valley Heights (10-3, 6-1 Twin-Valley) outscored the Eagles 16-2 in the second quarter to turn an even game after one quarter into a Mustang win. Clifton-Clyde (2-11, 0-6) was able to chip at Valley Heights’ lead in the second half, but didn’t get enough.

Valley Heights was led by Charles Musil’s 18 points, while also getting eight points from Tanner Trimble. Clifton-Clyde got 11-point efforts from both Caleb Gelino and Colin Sikes in the loss.
