To the Editor:
I have admired and, more importantly, respected KSU coach Bill Snyder for many years. For most of these years, I was not a resident of Kansas, but the values of the man shone through in articles I read. It was obvious that he is motivated by an unusual sense of civic responsibility. I have seen evidence of his efforts at the public library to encourage reading and studying. He also has often made suggestions to improve the game of football and its management.
