Ryan and Sons Realtors hires local agent

Ryan and Sons Realtors announced Allison Penner Disbrow has joined the team.

Allison is a third generation Manhattanite and knows the Manhattan and K-State community well.

Allison grew up in Manhattan and graduated from Kansas State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and a Specialty in Accounting and Finance. She went on to earn a Masters in Nonprofit Management at Regis University in Denver.

Allison has a decade of fundraising and marketing experience, and worked most recently as the Development Director for Attention Homes, an organization that provides housing and shelter to homeless youth in Boulder, Colo.

“The Ryan Family has three generations and almost 50 years of service to the Manhattan community. I am thrilled to be working with such talented real estate professionals and wonderful people,” Allison commented. “I look forward to carrying on the Ryan tradition of excellence in customer service.”

Allison and her husband Steve recently returned home to Manhattan to raise their family. Steve is an educator and coach in the Manhattan-Ogden school district. They have two children, Brooklyn and Easton.

Allison is passionate about serving the community. She is a member of the Little Apple Optimist Club, a board member of the Mercy Regional Health Center Auxiliary and is on the planning committee for The Community Foundation Awards ceremony. Additionally, she is a member of the National, Kansas and Manhattan Associations of Realtors as well as the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce.
