The Rock Creek Mustang softball team took their game to Alma on Tuesday to face the Wabaunsee Chargers in a pair of Mid-East League contests.
Rock Creek won the games 11-1 and 11-0.
The Mustang pitchers combined for 10 strikeouts, and allowed just five singles in the doubleheader.
Senior Katie Hodges and freshman Blair Campbell earned wins from the mound. Campbell pitched a shutout, while Hodges tossed a one-hitter.
The Mustangs had nine hits in Game 1, led by Caitlyn Larson who went 2-for-2 with two walks. Megan Srna doubled to drive home two.
Caitline’ Christenson was 1-for-1 with three walks. Lauren Overkamp drove in two runs with a single.
In the nightcap, the Mustangs collected 12 hits, led by senior shortstop Bailey Elliott going 4-for-4 with two singles, a double and a triple with three RBIs.
Hodges was 3-for-5 with two RBIs and Srna went 2-for-5 with a double, reaching twice on errors and scoring four runs. Campbell and Jessi Snapp each doubled.
The Mustangs are now 6-0 in MEL play with two MEL opponents yet to play.
