The Rock Creek softball team played a doubleheader with Clay Center on Tuesday, losing the first game 7-5 and winning the second 19-10.
The Tigers had five hits to score the seven runs in Game 1, while Rock Creek struggled with 11 hits and just five runs.
Megan Srna led the Mustangs going 3-for-4 with a triple, while Bailey Elliott was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.
Katie Hodges fell to 2-2 on the season with six strikeouts, as she gave up one earned run.
The Mustangs allowed four runs early in the second game, but managed to come back by scoring in each inning after the first.
Caitlyn Larson was 3-for-6, while Elliot was 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and two RBIs. Jessia Snall was 2-for-4 with a double and Kelsey Quinn was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
Blair Campbell went 2-for-5 with four RBIs. Srna tripled and Breanna Stillwagon doubled to drive in three runs.
The Mustangs will open Mid-East League play next week against St. Marys on Monday. Rock Creek will play Southeast of Saline on April 20.
