The Rock Creek softball team swept Wabaunsee on Tuesday, beating the Chargers 11-1 and 13-2.
The Mustangs got off to a slow start in the first game, scoring one run in the first, but not scoring again until the seventh inning when they piled on 10 runs.
In the seventh inning alone, the Mustangs got hits from Alexis Wilson, Kayla Blotz and Blair Campbell, and two from Abbie Plummer.
Campbell allowed one run over seven innings, striking out six and allowing one walk and four hits.
Plummer was 3 for 5 with two RBIs, while Wilson and Shannon Caffrey each went 2 for 4.
In the second game, the Mustangs scored consistently, putting up three runs each in the second, fourth, sixth and seventh innings.
Brynn Hammett went 3 for 5 at the plate with two RBIs and took the win in the circle. Caffrey, Winter Henry and Boltz each had two hits, and Caffrey and Wilson had doubles. Henry and Boltz had two RBIs.
Mariah Kinderknecht and Henry had two stolen bases, while Plummer added another.
Rock Creek is now 10-6 on the season and 6-0 in Mid-East League play. The Mustangs host Silver Lake on Thursday.
