Rock Creek baseball sweeps St. Marys

The Rock Creek baseball team put up big runs last Monday in a sweep of St. Marys, beating the Bears 11-1 and 14-4.

The Mustangs used a fourth-inning rally to put away St. Marys in the first game, scoring six runs.

Alex Feldkamp was 3 for 3 at the plate with a triple. Caleb Rogge got the win with one run on two hits with 10 strikeouts and three walks in four innings.

Rock Creek built a 3-0 lead right off the bat with a three-run double from Brett Hammett.

The Mustangs piled on 11 runs in the first three innings of the second game. Hammett smacked a two-run home run in the first inning.

Zach Nider got the win pitching 4 1/3 innings and finishing with nine strikeouts. Rock Creek finished with 16 hits and 10 RBIs.
