Roadrunner closed; service still available

KCI Roadrunner shuttle service out of Junction City has closed its doors, but a new service provider has taken over business.

Quicksilver Shuttle and Economy Limousine acquired the service about two weeks ago, said Michael Grace, Quicksilver shuttle road runner service provider.

Grace said that since they are based out of Kansas City, the times and frequency of the shuttle services were likely to change.

“The times are definitely not set in stone,” Grace said. “We also ask that people call and make reservations in advance since we are not running as frequent as trips as Roadrunner did.”

Grace said the location of the pick up in Junction City might also change. He said that they have received several requests for the pickup location to be moved to Knights Inn rather than its current location at Tenth and Washington.

Right now the service offers five times a day in Junction City, Fort Riley and Manhattan.

The Marshal Field Gate pickup at Fort Riley and Clarion Hotel location in Manhattan will not change.

For a complete list of times and locations, or to make reservations, people can call (800) 888-8294.
