Riley County sweeps Clay Center

At Riley, the Falcons earned their second win of the season with a fourth-quarter rally against Clay Center after trailing most of the game.

Clay Center took a five-point lead into the second quarter and the two teams each scored a combined 12 points in the next two quarters. But Riley Co. was able to get over the hump in the fourth, outscoring the Tigers 18-10 to get the win.

Tyler Jordan scored 13 points to lead all scorers, with Trace Nelson adding 12 and Landin Griffith adding eight.

Riley Co. does not play again until Jan. 7 at Rock Creek.
