Riley County softball finishes season

The Riley County High softball team’s season came to an end last Friday at Marion.

Riley County won its first game that day, defeating Marion 11-0. But the Falcons didn’t have enough in the nightcap to overcome Rossville, as Riley County lost 6-2.

Heidi Prockish was the winning pitcher for the Falcons in the runaway victory over Marion. Maddie Rogers, Emily Brummett and Ali Martin had two hits apeice in the effort.

Bri Foster and Rogers each had two hits each in the loss to Rossville.  Prockish took the loss in the circle.

The Falcons finished the season 8-12. Riley County team members include Jaida Barnes, Kerrigan Simons, Cheyenne Stedman, Randi Glover, Alyssa Kulp, Jordan Ummel, Alyssa Sias, Makayla Tegtmeier and Mikayla Winter.
