Riley County softball beats Concordia

The Riley County softball team grabbed two wins on Friday, sweeping Concordia, 4-3 and 3-1.

Makayla Tegtmeier hit an RBI double to break a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning. Emily Brummett doubled and Alyssa Kulp and Kerrigan Simons had singles. Jordan Ummel pitched and had three hits.

Heidi Prockish got the second game started with a single to score Simons. Concordia would tie it in the fourth inning.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Kulp hit a two-run walk-off home run to end the game.

The Falcons host Rock Creek on Tuesday.
