In Alma, the Riley County Falcons got their first win of the season against Wabaunsee on Friday, shutting out the Chargers to win in dominating fashion. The Falcons had the game in hand by halftime, leading 29-0 and scoring just once more in the game, in the third quarter.

Trace Nelson and Josh Brazzle each scored a pair of touchdowns and Landin Griffith caught a touchdown pass from Brice Brummett to round out the scoring. Riley County (1-4) travels to St. Marys next week.
