Republic County took home third place after defeating Central Plains 48-47.

The Buffaloes used a balanced scoring attack to outlast the Oilers, as seven players scored four or more points.

Devin Nutsch had 11 points and Kayley Johnson had nine points, all on 3-pointers, to lead the Buffaloes charge.

Jennifer Hitschman had a game-high 23 points, while her running mate Sydney Rugan recorded a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds for Central Plains. The fourth quarter was a back-and-forth affair with both teams combining for 39 points, 20 of which came from Republic County.

Central Plains, after being down by six points at halftime, made a furious comeback in the third, where they scored 12 points and held Republic County to just six points.
