Representatives’ actions on behalf of autism insurance bill helpful

By Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
Over the last few weeks, I have had the opportunity to watch our state representatives in action.  I provided testimony at a House Insurance Committee hearing on HB 2764, the Autism Insurance bill.  Both Rep. Tom Phillips and Rep. Sydney Carlin attended this hearing.  Neither serves on the committee, but both had been contacted by constituents regarding the hearing and HB 2764. Both Reps. Carlin and Phillips listened and responded to their constituents regarding this life-saving legislation; they attended hearings, read testimony and researched the various issues involved.
