Reporter should have pointed out ‘whoppers’

By Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
The front-page article Tuesday describing the presentation of “a key lobbyist” for the Farm Bureau simply begs for the application of some actual journalism. The lobbyist’s claims are so far out of touch with reality that a responsible reporter would know that, and perhaps temper some of them with the traditional tool called “telling both sides of the story.” Alas, that task is left to readers like me.
